About Flowcore Advisory

Flowcore Advisory Co., Ltd. has provided independent branch performance reviews for regional operators in Taiwan since 2016.

Registered business

Flowcore Advisory Co., Ltd. is the official registered name of our practice. We were established in 2016 in Hsinchu, Taiwan, to serve regional operators who needed structured branch assessments without the overhead of a large consulting firm.

How we started

Our founding partners met while supporting a bakery franchise expansion along Taiwan’s west coast. The franchisor had strong recipes and training manuals, but area managers struggled to see which branches were drifting from standards until customer complaints surfaced. We built a review methodology around observable floor behaviour — opening checklists actually completed, not just filed — and word spread through regional operator networks.

By 2019 we had completed reviews across food service, retail, and personal services. We remain a focused practice: branch performance review, multi-unit comparison, and meeting facilitation. We do not sell software, run mystery shopper networks, or take equity in client businesses.

Our team

Four senior reviewers and two associate facilitators work from our Hsinchu office and travel to client branches across Taiwan. Each reviewer has at least eight years of multi-unit operations experience before joining Flowcore — typically as a regional manager, franchise operations lead, or quality assurance supervisor.

Chen Wei-lin, Managing Director, previously led operations for a fourteen-outlet tea chain in central Taiwan. Patricia Hsu specialises in retail and convenience formats. David Kao focuses on food service and kitchen compliance. Angela Lo facilitates quarterly review sessions and prepares comparison materials.

How we work with clients

We are engaged by regional directors, franchise owners, and operations VPs who want an independent view. We sign a scope letter before any visit, share our observation framework in advance when requested, and deliver written findings your team can act on. We do not implement changes on your behalf — that keeps our reviews independent and your managers accountable.

Values that guide our reviews

  • Specificity over scores — A number without context helps no one. We describe what we saw, when, and who was involved (by role, not name unless necessary).
  • Respect for branch teams — Reviews are announced. Staff are told why we are on site. We are guests in their workplace.
  • Confidentiality — Reports go to the commissioning contact unless you authorise wider distribution. We do not publish client names without written permission.

Community

We sponsor the Taiwan Multi-Unit Operators Roundtable, a quarterly breakfast in Hsinchu where regional managers share practical challenges — staffing, lease renewals, supplier issues — without sales presentations. Attendance is by invitation; contact us if you operate five or more branches in Taiwan.
